Upcoming Events & Festivals in Tega Cay

May 10 - Best Dam Food Festival

You can come hungry and leave happy at the Best Dam Food Festival. The festival features a mouthwatering selection of food vendors serving everything from tacos to pizza, making the event fun for all ages. Enjoy live music, scenic views, and an unforgettable experience by the Catawba Dam.


The Best Dam Food Festival takes place at Catawba Park in Tega Cay (2351 New Grey Rock Road). Parking at the venue is limited! Additional parking is available at Gold Hill Elementary and Middle Schools (1025 Dave Gibson Blvd). You can check out shuttle information HERE.

A recurring event for children of all ages, where Tega Cay firefighters bring stories to life with engaging storytelling sessions.

Live concerts, kids’ amusements, and food trucks!

September 27 - Catawba Fest

Catawba Park | 10 AM - 6 PM
A day filled with arts, crafts, live music, and community vibes! Perfect for jumpstarting your holiday shopping with unique gifts from local vendors.

October 14 - National Night Out

Hosted by the Tega Cay Police Department, this event fosters police-community relationships with food, games, and neighborhood camaraderie.

October 26-31 - Pumpkin Palooza

Get into the fall spirit by creating a Jack-O-Lantern to be displayed at the Tega Cay sign by the Memorial Gardens.

October 31 - Trunk or Treat

A safe and fun trick-or-treating event with decorated trunks, free hot dogs, and drinks for the whole family.

December 4 - Lighting of the City Tree

Kick off the holiday season with Tega Cay’s annual tree-lighting ceremony, a magical evening of community and festive cheer.

December 5 - Grinch’s Craft and Cocoa with the PoPo

Hosted by the Tega Cay Police Department, this event includes fun activities and photo ops with the Grinch!

December 20 - Santa in the Cay
